I am always looking for a simple quilt to have on hand for a new baby so when I saw this pattern I had to make it, but it could be made for any age depending upon the fabric choices! The finished size also may vary depending upon the number of blocks you wish to make using 5” squares or fat quarters that you may have been collecting, the decision is yours.

Kimberbell Oh Happy Days

Kimberbell: Oh Happy Day

Our Kimberbell event is a great way to have fun and get to know machine embroidery. This event is suitable for the beginner all the way to the most advanced embroiderer, you can even test one of our embroidery machines if you don’t have one. In this event you will learn: single-hoop embroidery on a readymade article, multi hooping, piecing in the hoop, how to install a zipper, embroider a quilted design and so much more. During the 2 days you will make and finish 6 embroidery projects all in the hoop. Included with your Kimberbell event, you’ll receive an exclusive sewing bag completely filled with Kimberbell fabric, paper tape, ribbon, buttons, and more to make six amazing event projects. We’ll even cut the stabilizer for you! You just need to come with your machine and a few basic supplies and be ready to have fun. We will even provide lunch.

Sisterhood Retreats Embroidery ClubNew! Sisterhood Retreats Embroidery Club

This club is an amazing value. This semester each month we will have a different theme: Beach Retreat, Zoo Animals and BBQ Retreat are the next classes. Each month you will receive multiple projects to sew but we will make 1 in class. During club we will learn multiple embroidery techniques while making fun useful projects. This club has been designed to work on all current brands and models of embroidery machines. Each month at least 1 project can be done in a 4 x 4 hoop but some projects need an 8” x 11” hoop. This club is a great way for the beginner or the experienced embroiderer to become more familiar with their embroidery machine.

Beginner Card Tricks

Are you just starting to quilt or need to brush up on your skills. This seven week class will take you through choosing fabrics, rotary cutting, piecing blocks, joining blocks, adding borders, sandwiching and basting, basics of machine quilting and binding and labeling. This fun quilt looks much more complicated than it is and will teach you everything you need to know to move on to more advanced projects.

We have put together 3 sessions of classes that are designed to get any beginner familiar with the basics of using your embroidery machine. This is a fun class for those just starting to embroider. The Strip Club

No we haven’t gone completely crazy! But you know the saying “girls just gotta have fun!” What we are going to do is provide you with yet another way to create exciting quilts using either pre-cut strips or strips you can cut from your stash. We will have some great ideas on how you can work with these strips in a variety of projects. This club takes place once a month. There will be lots of fun along with goodies, coffee and tea!
