Kimberbell One Day Bash

We will make 3 fun projects, for 3 different seasons, from start to finish and learn some great embroidery techniques. We will learn paper piecing in the hoop with our Summer Popsicle Hot Pad, applique in the hoop with an adorable Sweet Equation Tea Towel and chenille and applique on the Snowman Kisses Pillow. These projects are a combination of Sewing and Embroidery. This will be a fun day you won’t want to miss.

Equinox

Wonderful Cozy Quilt pattern for those 2 1-2 inch strips we’ve all collected and a background. Or cut fresh to match someone’s favourite colour or try out a new colour palette, A single block goes together and forms a secondary pattern that looks like you’ve made two different blocks. It looks way more complicated than it is. Make any size quilt you want.

The Witch Is In – 18” X 36”

If you enjoy machine applique or want to learn a new technique & make a fun wall hanging for Halloween, join us to make this project. Some pre-class preparation is required but appli-quilting will allow you to finish this project fairly quickly. It has always been a hit at my house when I hang it on my door, I wonder why?

Kimberbell Noteables are composition book covers that turn ordinary writing paper into a noteworthy journal. Each machine embroidered cover is fully lined, durable, and reusable — and best of all, each are made (even pieced!) entirely in-the-hoop! In class we will be learning to make the large size which is a multi hoop project. These are so much fun and make amazing gifts.

Looks like pieced curves, but looks can be deceiving. Easy peasy raw edge applique is the technique used to create this striking quilt. Use the Cut-Around Ruler or the paper templates in the pattern. Fat Quarter Friendly,

Oh, the Possibilities for Halloween!

Decorate your home for the season, while learning new techniques along the way. Using your embroidery machine we will applique the house, while learning how to re-hoop for placement. The projected is then finished off with a regular sewing machine for the border. The finished size is 12.5” x 22.5”

Sisterhood Retreats Embroidery Club Summer Retreat Day – Sewing

Who doesn’t want cute sewing accessories for themselves – or as sweet gifts for sewing friends! We’ve designed a great Sewing Lanyard to hold your mini HoopScissors and a couple of other essential tools at your fingertips. Next, we have 6 adorable mini wall hangings with scalloped edges, easy, fast, and make great gifts! Last but not least, we have a very functional Ironing Board Organizer. Keep things like Pins, Spray Starch, Scissors, and Rulers at your fingertips without cluttering up your ironing surface. This club is an amazing value and for summer you can sign up for 1 class at a time. These projects require an 8” x 8” hoop. This retreat is a great way for the beginner or the experienced embroiderer to become more familiar with their embroidery machine.

Kimberbell Embroidery Club Session 1 Repeated
