If you loved the disappearing 9-patch, this pattern is for you. It goes together just as quickly, and looks so complicated your friends will be impressed. This one will be a standard that you make over and over. You can used planned or scrappy, just have good contrast. Each block uses 2 colours.

Sashing Stars

Using the Marti and Me template, this wall hanging is s wonderful way to use a big beautiful prints that you don’t want to cut small. It is fun and really pretty. The stars look more complicated than they are, but the the Marti sashing stars templates make short work of them. Templates recommended.

Kimberbell’s Kitchen

Need to satisfy your sweet tooth and machine embroidery addiction? Come sew with us in Kimberbell’s Kitchen. Make six exclusively sweet projects to bake with in your own kitchen or gift to a fellow baker. Create a delicious chenille hot pad, bread basket, vintage mixer applique apron, and more! Improve your embroidery skills, learn new techniques, and have your cake and stitch it too! In this event you will learn: single-hoop embroidery on a ready-made article, multi hooping, piecing in the hoop, chenilling, embroider a quilted design and so much more. During the 2 days you will make and finish 6 embroidery projects all in the hoop. Included with your Kimberbell event, you’ll receive an exclusive sewing bag completely filled with Kimberbell fabric, paper tape, ribbon, buttons, and more to make six amazing event projects. Introduction to Quilting With Rulers On Your Home Sewing Machine

If you enjoy free motion quilting the quilts you make, learn to use long-arm quilting rulers on your home sewing machine. This class will introduce you to using the Janome rulers and the design possibilities. In this class we will review the techniques, how to use the rulers and discover the design possibilities using rulers. We will practice using the rulers so you can create your own designs. You will need a ruler quilting foot and rulers for this class.

Walking Foot Quilting

How do you know where to quilt? Choosing patterns and planning what to do can be easier than you think. Using your walking foot is the easiest way to finish quilting some of those tops we all have. We will discuss threads and tips and tricks. Bring a quilt already basted with pins, thread or spray baste, and we will make a plan for it and get it underway.

Planning a Panel

So you have this wonderful panel – Now what? Panels can be used as the start of an amazing one of a kind quilt. By adding pieced and plain rows and borders, a panel can become an amazing quilt. Some panels are so beautiful, they look almost like paintings and can be enhanced and enlarged with some simple techniques. Bring your panel and we will make individual plans that will be easy to follow and give you striking results.

Hoopsister Sisterhood Quilt

This spectacular two-color quilt can be embroidered in 5” – 9” block sizes. This quilt only requires two fabrics and two threads. Learn to work with HoopSisters’ famous battilizer, a stabilizer/batting base, to easily create a quilt like no other, all with an embroidery machine. Each month learn different embroidery techniques to master these embroidery quilt blocks. At the end, learn HoopSisters awesome finishing technique for a fully-quilted on the embroidery machine look. This quilt is shown with the optional border.

All you have to do is bring a potluck item/ Bag Lunch and a project(s) you would like to work on.
