New! Kimberbell Embroidery Club

Kimberbell designs are clever, whimsical and a fun way to learn different embroidery techniques. Even if you have never done machine embroidery before, you will enjoy this club. Each month you will complete a different embroidery or in-the-hoop project and focus on a new technique, such as piecing in-the-hoop, Applique, Mylar, Multi-Hooping, Cutwork and Quilting. Kimberbell designs are so cute and have amazing instructions, this club will not disappoint you.

Introduction to Quilting With Rulers On Your Home Sewing Machine

If you enjoy free motion quilting the quilts you make, learn to use long-arm quilting rulers on your home sewing machine. This class will introduce you to using the Janome rulers and the design possibilities. In this class we will review the techniques, how to use the rulers and discover the design possibilities using rulers. We will practice using the rulers so you can create your own designs. You will need a ruler quilting foot and rulers for this class.

Patchabilities or Mouse Blanket

I love these little applique patterns. They are festive and fun and easy to do. Choose a pattern and use fusible web to get it together in record time. Then add any combination of decorative buttons, and/or stitching and embellishing if you want.

Planning a Panel

So you have this wonderful panel – Now what? Panels can be used as the start of an amazing one of a kind quilt. By adding pieced and plain rows and borders, a panel can become an amazing quilt. Some panels are so beautiful, they look almost like paintings and can be enhanced and enlarged with some simple techniques. Bring your panel and we will make individual plans that will be easy to follow and give you striking results.

Day Retreats/ UFO Days

Would you like to spend the day in the company of other quilters, away from the distractions at home? Then you need to sign up for one of our Day Retreats. We will provide a friendly work area, refreshments and even pop in now and then to make sure you are working hard. All you have to do is bring a potluck item/ Bag Lunch and a project(s) you would like to work on.
