The Romance Continues: Here’s a great opportunity to stitch one of Marti Michell’s block of the month quilts using her Perfect Patchwork Templates Sets B & D. Three blocks will be presented each month leaving one session for sashing and finishing techniques. Kits available in black white and red.   Watch for a picture coming soon.  Supply list available.

Whimsy Winter Bench Pillow:  Make a winter project usingraw edge machine appliqué. While the projects are meant to be pillows it would be easy to make the projects into table runners, wall hangings etc.

Beatle Bag:  The sew and go Beatle Bag is your personalized traveling bag.  Use it as a sewing kit, store beads, flosses, make-up or jewelry. The pattern includes 4 inserts which are heavy duty vinyl bags.  They have a zip closure.  Each insert has two bags, one on each side, so in total you get 8 bags.   On the inside it also has two pockets big enough to hold full size scissors and a full size cutter.  It also has a detachable pin cushion.

NEW! The Strip Club: No we haven’t gone completely crazy! But you know the saying “girls just gotta  have fun”! What we are going to do is provide you with yet another way to create exciting quilts using either precut strips or strips you can cut from your stash.  We will have some great ideas on how you can work with these strips in a variety of projects. This club takes place once a month.  Pattern included in class fee. There will be lots of fun along with goodies, coffee and tea! Aren’t you just a bit curious? NEW! Pacific Northwest Splendor: AKA – “Row By Row” Technique Quilt: Maureen designed this quilt using the Pacific Northwest as her inspiration. Each class offers a new row and a new technique. Drop by the shop to see the sample. This project is being offered as a monthly class for anyone wanting to sit down and stitch the row with instruction, but will also be available for sale as a pattern/kit.  Kits and supply lists available.

Marti & Me Club (aka Tool of the Month Club): This club will use Marti Michell’s exclusive, limited edition patterns. Each month we will present a different project using a variety of quilting tools. These projects will be wall hangings, table runners, bed quilts, etc. Class fee includes a free gift.  Along with the pattern you will be able to choose between a template or a different fabric bundle each month.  And of course coffee, tea and treats too! Beginner Alternating 4 Patch:  In this project I will take you through quilt making and share my tricks for accuracy and easy quilting.  If you haven’t quilted before this is a great project to see what quilting is all about.  You will learn rotary cutting, strip piecing, pressing, machine quilting and binding techniques. It’s also a great class for quilters who would like to improve their skills.

Embroidery Club for All Embroidery Machines: We have a new line up of fun project for fall. We will make bowl covers,  a bolster pillow and placemats.  Techniques learned will be embroidery placement, placing multiple patterns and colour shading and more.  All great projects that would make great gifts and just fun to make. This club has been designed to work on all current brands and models of embroidery machine with a min 5″ x 7″ hoop, if you are not sure if your machine will work give us a call to confirm.  This club is a great way for the beginner or the experienced embroiderer to become more familiar with their embroidery machine.  There will be a new project each month with new techniques learned each month.
