Be Scrappy, Be Thrifty, Be Modern!

This REALLY easy and fast little quilt is made up of scraps…really… Gather all your 2.5″ strip leftovers or your leftover 5″ squares, or any other scrap that you can get a 2.5″ X 5″ piece out of and chop them all up to that size. Then cut some 2.5″ WOF strips out of a white, whiteon-white or very light beige and I’ll show you how to turn it into a really cute, colourful quilt for a baby, or a throw, or even a queen sized quilt – the choice is yours (depending on how many scraps you’ve got! ) If you have all your fabrics pre-cut you’ll be able to finish the top by the end of the workshop.

Leftover Jellyroll

This jelly roll quilt uses a constant colour and an easy assembly method to create a quilt with style and panache in record time. Sewing your strata is the hardest part. The size of the quilt can be increased by adding extra strips or an extra half jellyroll or borders.

Beginner Card Tricks

Are you just starting to quilt or need to brush up on your skills? This seven-week class will take you through choosing fabrics, rotary cutting, piecing blocks, joining blocks, adding borders, sandwiching and basting, basics of machine quilting and binding and labeling. This fun quilt looks much more complicated than it is and will teach you everything you need to know to move on to more advanced projects.
