2017 Quilt Contest
Canada’s 150th Birthday
Celebrate Canada ’ s birthday by creating a quilt that pays homage to its unique history and culture!
Contest Deadline: July 2, 2017
THEME: CANADA’S 150TH BIRTHDAY
QUILTS WILL BE JUDGED ON THEIR CREATIVITY AND ORIGINALITY.
1st Prize: $500 Notions credit from sponsoring retailer
2nd Prize: $300 Notions credit from sponsoring retailer
3rd Prize: $200 Notions credit from sponsoring retailer
Rules:
- Quilts may be quilted by hand, machine or both and must be no smaller than 12″ x 12″
- Participants are to forward the High-Res photo to sherrill@njeffersonltd.com, with the name of sponsoring retailer, no later than July 2, 2017.
- Please include a photo of the quilt showing all four corners and a photo of the entrant(s) from the shoulders up.
- All decisions of the judges are final. N Jefferson reserves the right to publish all photos in their own promotional advertising.

Rules:
- All stories must be original, unpublished and written by individual sending it in.
- Entries must be typed, double spaced and copyright remains the property of the author.
- Submitted entries cannot exceed 300 words.
- The contest is open to all Canadians.
- Finished stories are to be submitted to sherrill@njeffersonltd.com
- Entries must be sent with a cover sheet that has the writer’s name,address,phone number,and the name of a sponsoring retailer.
- Winners will be notified at the end of July 2017 with details about their prize.
- All decisions by the judges are final. All entries must be entered by Jun 30, 2017
