NEW! The Strip Club:
No we haven’t gone completely crazy! But you know the saying “girls just gotta have fun”! What we are going to do is provide you with yet another way to create exciting quilts using either precut strips or strips you can cut from your stash. We will have some great ideas on how you can work with these strips in a variety of projects. This club takes place once a month. Pattern included in class fee. There will be lots of fun along with goodies, coffee and tea! Aren’t you just a bit curious? Sign up for three months at a time but can join anytime.

AKA – “Row By Row” Technique Quilt: Maureen designed this quilt using the Pacific Northwest as her inspiration. Each class offers a new row and a new technique. Drop by the shop to see the sample. This project is being offered as a monthly class for anyone wanting to sit down and stitch the row with instruction, but will also be available for sale as a pattern/kit. Just a jelly roll and some background and you create a stunning quilt top. It measures 63 inches by 63 inches and is very simple to sew. Great for the quilter who has already done the basics and is ready for the next step.

Beginner Alternating 4 Patch:
In this project I will take you through quilt making and share my tricks for accuracy and easy quilting. If you haven’t quilted before this is a great project to see what quilting is all about. You will learn rotary cutting, strip piecing, pressing, machine quilting and binding techniques. It’s also a great class for quilters who would like to improve their skills.

Freezer Paper Applique:
In this class we will make a mug rug using the freezer paper method of preparing pieces for traditional hand appliqué work. This is a lovely, traditional, portable and relaxing method, if you enjoy hand work. Do all the prep in advance and take baggies with you to hold your block and prepped pieces wherever you go. I recommend this for any of the Turned Edge Prep.
