Due to Cindy’s recent illness, Rita is going to host this class for Cindy. Come and join us in support of Cindy and her love of Charity by making Stockings for the Christmas Bureau. Even if you know how to make a stocking, meet on Zoom and sew with us in support of Cindy. Let’s give her encouragement by showing her how many stockings we can make on her behalf.
Christmas Stockings
It’s that time again to think about our Christmas sewing. Every year, we make stockings for the Christmas Bureau, and they are always well received. These stocking are also great for friends and family. My family is always evolving, so I keep making stockings. They are fun to make and always turn out great.
Date – Surrey: Saturday, Dec. 5 10:00am – 1:00pm
Fee: No Charge

Stocking Contest
Would you like to WIN an early Christmas gift? Join our Stocking Contest for a chance to win the grand prize – a Gift Certificate valued at $100. One grand prize will be awarded in each store. All of our customers are invited to participate. The prize will be awarded by random draw. To be eligible to win, you will need to make a quilted stocking.
Contest Rules:
* The Stocking Front must consist of three layers – the top, batting and lining, plus a hanging tab (stocking back does not need to be quilted)
* The Stocking must be a minimun of 12″ long
* The Stocking must be made with 100% quilter’s cotton
* The Stocking can be pieced, contain embroidery, or applique, or a panel
* The Stocking must be quilted either by hand, machine or a combination of both
* The Stocking must be made in 2020 and not have been used
* All Entries must be in by Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020
All stockings will be donated to charity. Let’s start spreading the Christmas cheer!
Christmas Gift Draw
As this is going to be a tough year for many families, we thought we would add a bonus draw – a Christmas Gift Draw. Bring in an unwrapped gift or toy, bought or hand made and be entered into a draw to win a $100 Gift Certificate. The prize will be awarded by random draw.

* All proceeds from the coupons go to support the local Christmas Bureau.
