Maple Leaves

The pattern might say “Fuzzy Flannel“ but this is a fantastic pattern to use up some of those “special” fabrics in your stash. (And they don’t need to be flannels, although you can use those too!). This project is easy to make using a template to help with cutting out your pattern. Makes an awesome lap quilt and is a great skill builder.

Floating Gems

One of those great patterns if you’re a Beginning Quilter or have a few Quilts under your belt! This is has become a “go to” pattern as it’s easy to size up to a bed sized quilt or size down for a New born. I’ve already made a few.

Dates via Zoom: Friday, Mar. 12 10:00am – 1:00pm

Celebration Star

I just wanted a fresh Table Topper and couldn’t resist playing with this pattern. It’s using one the first paper pieced pattern I learned. Paper piecing is a fantastic technique to achieve those “sharp points “. You can stop at just the centre or do as I did add a few more blocks. A Fun Little Quilt.

Dates via Zoom: Wednesday, Mar. 31, 10:00am – 1:00pm

Cake Therapy and Beyond

We are changing Cake Therapy up a bit, once more. All classes will be held on Zoom and hosted by Countryfolk’s amazing Lynne Thiessen. If you haven’t already attended Cake Therapy, then it’s time you did and find out what you are missing. If you are a beginner or advanced quilter you will have fun learning and sharing different techniques. There are NO FEES for these sessions, but great deals will be offered if you want to take things home.

In the “good old days” when we would all get together in one place for Cake Therapy, cake was actually provided. Now that we must all stay at home and participate virtually, any cake we eat will have to be our own. Nevertheless, please join our virtual group as well as our “show and tell” session by sending pictures of what you made to nannylynne.lt@gmail.com.
